Praise Apampa, Chief Financial & Administrative Officer
Praise Apampa has more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit finance, accounting and administration. Prior to joining STRIVE, he served as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for PEN America, an organization dedicated to protecting free expression in the United States and around the world, and which operates at the intersection of literature and human rights. In this role, he successfully managed the annual operating budget and played a crucial part in establishing a sustainable financial model for future growth. His extensive experience also includes finance director and controller positions at Pro Bono Net, Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corporation, Asbury Park Housing Authority, and several other organizations.
Praise is a certified nonprofit accounting professional. He holds a doctoral degree in transformational leadership, an MBA in international business from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University, and a BS in international business from the Chazanoff School of Business at the City University of New York.
