Jamaul Webster, Chief Development Officer

Jamaul (he/him) joins our STRIVE Harlem office as Chief Development Officer. He comes to us from Educational Alliance, where he served as Chief Development Officer for three years. He brings a proven record in developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategy and leading teams in revenue generation. Prior to Educational Alliance, he served as a Vice President for Development at Teach For America, where he led all fundraising activities across New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. Prior to his tenure at Teach For America, Jamaul served as Senior Director for Principal & Major Gifts at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where he led a national team of development professionals and supported the organization’s CEO in donor engagement and relationship building. 

Jamaul will work with our leadership, board and staff to bring a fresh and innovative focus to our ambitious enterprise goals, including new opportunities to grow revenue and scale nationally. 

As a long-time volunteer and board member for the Human Rights Campaign, the largest LGBTQ advocacy organization in the country, Jamaul shows his personal commitment to social justice. Jamaul also serves on the LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center where he co-chairs its philanthropy committee.

Jamaul lives with his husband, Stephen, and their dog Albee, in New York City. He graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
