Tasha Jackson, Chief Financial & Administrative Officer

Tasha brings over 15 years of senior-level nonprofit experience, providing strategic financial and operational leadership and management to organizations of various sectors and sizes. Prior to joining STRIVE, Tasha held various leadership positions within the nonprofit sector, most recently at the Urban Resource Institute (URI), where she served as Vice President, Finance and Accounting, overseeing their Finance, Billing, Payroll and Procurement departments. Prior to URI, Tasha spent most of her executive financial career at the renowned Girls Scouts of Connecticut, as Chief Financial Officer, where she oversaw and managed Finance, Risk and Insurance, Human Resources, IT, Product Sales and Retail.

Tasha holds an MBA in Leadership from Post University and a Bachelors’ degree in Finance and Insurance from the University of Hartford.  She is an active member of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), Women’s Leadership Council, and the Institute of Management Accountants. 

Tasha actively volunteers in areas that support the empowerment of women, minorities and marginalized communities.  She spends her free time hiking, indulging in yoga and time with family.
